Easter Concert and Paschal Fire at Parliament Buildings
On Wednesday 27 March, Bishop David hosted an Easter Concert at Parliament Buildings. Kergyma cross–community choir and special guest Dana, performed songs of reconciliation and blessing including the new song Light the Fire, written to mark the Paschal (Easter) fire lit by Saint Patrick on the hill of Slane in 433AD. Following the concert, Bishop David, along with other church leaders, lit a symbolic Paschal fire below Parliament Buildings. They prayed for the Assembly, for those in positions of influence in our society and that revival would come to every church in the land. It was a powerful, Holy Spirit–filled evening!
