Cleopas Leaders’ Retreat
21 Jan 2019 — 22 Jan 2019
Dr Alan Wilson will lead the annual Cleopas Leaders retreat later this month when he will invite participants to reflect on and learn from the life of Moses.
This annual New Year event is a special opportunity for a couple of restful, yet stimulating days of reflection and teaching, as the new ministry year begins.
When: 21–22 January 2019
Where: Drumalis Retreat and Conference Centre, Larne
Alan served as a pastor for 21 years and is currently involved in itinerant preaching alongside teaching in several bible colleges. In regard to the life of Moses and his role as a leader, Alan writes:
As well as being one of the most significant figures in the biblical world, Moses’ story also provides us with a rich source of reflection on what it means to be a spiritual leader. During the retreat we will be exploring Moses’ story in a way that allows each of us to reflect on the various seasons of our leadership journeys. We’ll have the opportunity to think about some of the people and events that have shaped us, about seasons that have felt like wilderness or exile, and about some of the particular challenges and opportunities that come with leadership. As well as teaching times, there will be times for guided reflection and the opportunity to pray and talk about what you’ve been learning along the way.
The cost of the retreat is £140, payable on arrival and accommodation is in single rooms.
