Annalong young people serve up a smile
What a wonderful encouragement it was to the church family at Kilhorne, Annalong, when after the All Age Service in February, the Youth Fellowship provided and served the congregation with a soup and hotdog lunch.
Revd Robert Smyth, the Diocesan Curate, said, “Too often our young people are the subject of criticism rather than praise. It was indeed humbling to witness such a positive example of servant–heartedness. It was run like a military operation as they quietly and quickly attended to over 170 people.”
Donations of over £800 were received which will go towards youth work in the parish.
