The Cracked Pot Puppets

The ‘Cracked Pot Puppet Team' was formed in 2002 and is currently made up of 9 volunteers. The team is based in Holywood Parish Church and rehearse once a week and visit other churches and venues approximately twice a month.

Their aim is to use the puppets to spread God's word in a fun and interesting way.  This is done through puppet sketches and by singing songs.

Many people ask why they are called the ‘Cracked Pot Puppet Team' and the answer is quite simply based on 2 Corinthians 4 5-10 which states that a cracked pot is a vessel that carries around in it a treasure - the life of Christ shining through the imperfect body.  That is what the Cracked Pot Puppet Team hope to do with the puppets, show people the light of Jesus and help them to thrive on His word using their imperfect bodies and of course those of the puppets!

The team asks for prayer that they can use the puppets to help the message of God's love spread to as many people as possible.
