Pastoral Care Training
The diocese commends an accredited Foundations in Pastoral Care Course which has been well received by our churches in previous years. Places are limited for the upcoming course which begins on 9 April so if you are interested, please book early.
Run by the Association of Christians in Counselling, this is a 6–session course that supports the development of firm foundations for the practical provision of pastoral care with others.
Who is the course for?
- Individuals who are new to pastoral care and those with prior experience who wish to affirm their own understanding of this ministry or have not had the opportunity to attend a pastoral care training course before.

Cost: £80. However, on successful completion of the course Down and Dromore participants can claim a bursary of £40 back towards this amount.
