Summer means Summer Madness

With summer just around the corner for many of us that means just one thing - Summer Madness!  This year's programme at this amazing major Christian event at the King's Hall is packed with something to suit all tastes  - from the speakers to the workshops, and the bands to the worship - the organizers have it all covered.

Andy Hickford, Peter Greig, Phil Collins and Reggie Dabbs are the ‘big' names amongst the seminar speakers.  Everything from salsa dancing and circus walking to rapping are on the list of workshops to choose from; and then there's pool, basketball, a penalty kick competition, ‘sumo suits', a ‘chill out space' and even a ‘pamper room for the girls' to keep everyone occupied during the afternoons. The worship and music will be wonderful - with bands like Finchley, Innereye and Superhero it couldn't be anything else!

Families and church groups bring their tents (and caravans) and turn the grounds of the King's Hall into a ‘tented' village during the festival, which this year is running from 27th June to 1st July.  One of the highlights for Down & Dromore people on the Saturday evening will be Bishop Harold's famous annual BBQ, catering specially for Down & Dromore youth.
