Church of Ireland General Synod
The General Synod of the Church of Ireland meets annually in May. It is a meeting of representatives of all dioceses in the Church of Ireland and lasts for three days.
General Synod 2024 will be held in the Armagh City Hotel, Armagh from Friday 10 May, to Saturday 11 May 2024, with Day 3 taking place remotely on the evening of Tuesday 14 May and the evening of Thursday 16 May (if required).
General Synod will begin at 11.00 am in the hotel with the start of business followed by the Presidential Address by the Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, the Most Revd John McDowell.
