About

Aghalee Parish is a traditional, rural parish church serving the village of Aghalee and surrounding area.

Holy Trinity Church & halls are situated at Soldierstown (~2 miles east of Aghalee).

Our worship is liturgical in style, with a family–friendly atmosphere.

Children are always welcome with their families – and Jigsaw (Sunday School) takes place most Sundays during service time.

For girls & boys aged 3+, Girls Friendly Society and Church Lads’ Brigade meet on Monday evenings at 7pm (Sep~Apr).  We also have a range of parish organisations – Choir; Midweek Bible Study & Prayer; Mothers Union; Ladies Fellowship; Men’s group; Bowling Club.  New members are always welcome.

Holy Trinity Church was recently restored as part of Aghalee Parish Heritage Project (2018–25).  We are, therefore, always keen to share our rich Christian heritage with others … as well as looking to the future as we seek to grow in faith, love and fellowship in Christ.

Directions

From M1 Junction 9 – Head north on A26; Soldierstown Road is the 2nd road on the left, ~0.8 miles from roundabout.

From Nutts Corner – Head south on A26 ~10 miles, by–passing Glenavy & Ballinderry; after Glenavy Road Business Centre (Fane Valley, white windmill!), turn right onto Soldierstown Road.

About 1 mile along Soldierstown Road, you’ll cross a hump–back bridge and see the church ahead on the right.
