About

Christ Church Ardkeen is known locally as the Quarter Church. The original Ardkeen Parish Church was at Ardkeen, but when St Mary’s was destroyed in a storm the church was rebuilt at the Quarter in 1857. We are an imperfect church full of imperfect people but following our perfect Lord Jesus Christ and getting to know him better together. We have a loving church family who know the value of a good cuppa and treats in the church hall after services. We have a Meet–Up Tuesday group each week from 10.30–12.30. This is a drop–in and children are also welcome. There are crafts of different types available, lots of knitting and crochet and chat plus tea, coffee and treats.

Our mission as a church is to reflect the light of the Lord Jesus into our community so that more people will come to know Him as Saviour and Lord.

God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
