About

Our mission statement is: St. Paul’s is a friendly and caring Church, which unites us in our growing relationship with God and the sharing of His Word with all people. Our varied worship, led by Choir and music group, is informal and we try to make it as accessible as possible to all ages. To facilitate parents we have a Creche and Sunday School during morning worship. A range of organisations to suit all ages offers meeting places for social and spiritual activities. Our worship and organisations attract people from a variety of Church backgrounds, and we are always delighted to welcome visitors or newcomers. The Parish is made up of some 200 families. The age profile is in the middle to older age band but there are now increasing numbers in the younger age group. These families are bringing their young children to Sunday School and Creche. The number of children attending Sunday School has doubled over the previous two years. The majority of families live in the village or within the rural area surrounding the village.

Directions

The Parish of St Paul’s Gilford is situated in the heart of the village. Gilford is situated between the triangle of towns of Portadown, Lurgan and Banbridge. Approaching Gilford from Portadown or Lurgan, St. Paul’s is located on the left just opposite the Gilford Mill development. Approaching from Banbridge, take a right turn at the mini roundabout in the village, proceed through the village, and St. Paul’s is on your right directly opposite the Gilford Mill development. The Church has a visible welcome notice at the roadside.
