The Church on the Hill was formed when the Church of Ireland and Methodist congregations in Maghaberry joined for worship in 2006. It is a worshipping community from Church of Ireland, Methodist and no church backgrounds and serves the expanding village of Maghaberry. The congregation meets every Sunday morning at 10.30am in the building close to the primary school, and offers a range of youth and children’s activities throughout the week.
Maghaberry is 20 miles south of Belfast and is best reached by coming off for Moira at the M1 and taking a right off the Glenavy Road. You’ll find the Church on the Hill in Maghaberry between the crossroads and the primary school.
