New Church Army Personnel
Two new Church Army Captains have arrived in the Diocese of Down & Dromore: George Newell will be working in Willowfield Parish and Geoffrey Walmsley in Seapatrick Parish.
Both these men have their roots in Kilkeel Parish.
Archdeacon John Scott, rector of Seapatrick said, "Geoffrey was with us for a monthly pacement and as a parish we sponsored his training at Church Army's college. I am delighted he is joining us in a role that will see him spending most of his time speaking to and meeting people in our community. Geoffrey's friendly, open and approachabel style will be a real asset to the parish as he works outside of Church buildings, meeting people in their homes to encourage them in their personal faith."
