Bishop adds support to pleas to find Lisa Dorrian

The Bishop of Down and Dromore, the Rt Revd Harold Miller, has added his support to pleas to find Lisa Dorrian:

“The name of Lisa Dorrian is known to everyone in Northern Ireland, because of her tragic disappearance in February of last year. At the beginning of a New Year, the whole sense of her loss has been greatly heightened. We can only imagine how her family must be feeling. Thankfully, the new website about Lisa set up last month has had many responses and messages of good will, but, although helpful, we need more at this time.

People in the community who have any details of her disappearance must come forward with the relevant information. It is morally unacceptable to leave a family not knowing where their loved one is to be found. I appeal, in God’ s name, to everyone who can help in any way to do so now in a very focused way in these weeks leading up to the first anniversary of Lisa’ s disappearance. None of us would want her family and loved ones to face another year in a vacuum of uncertainty.

Our thoughts and prayers are with them particularly at this time.”
