Volunteers needed for Special Olympics
Volunteers are being sought for the next Special Olympics Ireland Games being held in Belfast from 21st to 25th June 2006. Application forms are availalbe from the Games website (click here) which has an online facility.
The Special Olympics Ireland Games are held every four years and offer athletes with learning disabilities from all over Ireland an opportunity to participate in a high level sporting competition. Twelve different sports will be featured, with eleven competition venues being used, and the Games will have 2,000 athletes taking part.
