Walk for Lisa
Anyone planning a walk in the spring sunshine this Bank Holiday weekend is invited to join the Dorrian family on a sponsored walk on Saturday 29 April. The family and those supporting them will walk from Helen’s Bay to Bangor (a distance of around 5 miles), setting off at 12.15pm from Helen’s Bay train station. The sponsored walk is being held in memory of Lisa Dorrian and to raise funds for the Lisa Dorrian Appeal. Lisa, who disappeared 14 months ago, was last seen in a caravan park in Ballyhalbert and it is now widely believed she was murdered and her body dumped at sea.
Any funds raised from the sponsored walk will go to the Lisa Dorrian Appeal Fund, which the family have set up to keep the campaign in the public domain. Further information about the walk or the Lisa Dorrian Appeal can be found on a special website (click here).
