Latest HUG project
HUG, (Holywood Underground), is an established group of young folk from Holywood Parish who are passionate about showing God's love to their local community. For example in the lead up to Christmas HUG teams are to be found on the High Street giving out free drinks and goodies to stressed-out shoppers.
This year their summer programme has involved the transformation of the subway at the local Seaside Tavern. The teams worked tirelessly to cover up the old graffiti in the underpass and now pedestrians using the facility are treated to a visual display of amazing artwork by these talented artists.
The local council were so impressed that they have given permission for HUG to transform the subways at the train station and the Priory graveyard.
