Albany Youth Team 2007

The Albany Trip is an excellent way to serve God with your summer! Down and Dromore Diocese are linked with Albany Diocese in New York state and in the summer of 2005 we took a team of 18 young people over to work at their Children's Camp in Beaver Cross, part of Albany's Spiritual Life Centre. A team of 12 is going out this coming summer which you have the opportunity to be part of.

What you will be doing?

As a member of this team you will spend 2 weeks working alongside staff at the camp as they minister to young people who are in junior and senior high (11-17 years old). You will be helping to lead groups of around 12 young people as they engage in various camp activities and also sharing your faith through a Christian Education programme.

There will also be a couple of days at the end of the camp to go to a theme park or do some sight-seeing.

An outline of the ministry of Albany Diocese from Beaver Cross can be found on their website http://www.beavercross.com/.  Check out the vids section of reflectyouth to see for yourself what goes on at a Beaver Cross camp!
