Down Cathedral: Dean's Travel Awards

The history of Down Cathedral and St Patrick is about travelling to help others in the names of Jesus.  That history lives on for hundreds of young people today and the Down Cathedral: Dean's Travel Awards is part of it.

The scheme, established in 2005 following the St Patrick's Day ‘Global Vision' celebrations, is to provide small grants to young people in the 18-25 age group, who wish to take part in short-term mission projects and is particularly suitable for students taking a Gap year.

Further information available from Down Cathedral, English Street, Downpatrick BT30 6AB.  Closing date for enquiries is Saturday 17th March 2007.
