Diocese of Down & Dromore

Ordination season has come round again and this year Bishop Harold has ordained two priests and eight deacons.  At the Ordination of Priests service in Down Cathedral on Sunday 17th June the bishop ordained:

• Revd Craig Cooney (for the Curacy of Shankill, Lurgan) and

• Adrian Dorrian (for the Curacy of Newtownards). 

The preacher at the service was the Right Revd Bill Love, Bishop of Albany.

The following Sunday, 24th June, at Shankill Parish, Lurgan, Bishop Harold ordained

• James Boyd (for the Curacy of Magheralin);

• Brian O'Reilly (for the Curacy of Seagoe);

• Clare Ashbridge (for the Curacy of Donaghcloney);

• Stanley Gamble (for the Curacy of Knockbreda);

• Adrian McLaughlin (for the curacy of Bangor Abbey);

• Edward Gorringe (NSM, for the Curacy of Aghalee);

• Carlton Baxter (NSM, for the Curacy of Shakill) and

• Mervyn Jamison (NSM, for the Curacy of Ballybeen). 

The preacher was the Revd Clive Atkinson, Chaplain of All Saints, Vevey and Saint Peter's Chateau d'Oex, Switzerland.
