Congratulations to Robbie and Samara
Many of you may remember Robbie Hull who worked in the Bishop's office from July 2004 - July 2005 helping the Bishop compile his book ‘Build your church, Lord.". Robbie got married on Saturday 23rd June in Saul Church to Samara Davis from Australia. Bishop Harold performed the wedding ceremony and Robbie's Dad, Henry, who is the Dean of Down Cathedral, gave the address.
The couple held their wedding reception in a marquee in the grounds of Old Court Estate, Strangford, by the edge of the Lough. Despite the grey and very wet weather a fun afternoon and evening was had by all and the happy couple went on their way (complete with umbrellas and welly-boots!)
Robbie and Samara met when he was doing an internship in Coventry and London with Care from 2005-2006 and she was completing a degree in International Development in London. Robbie is currently doing a Masters degree in International Relations in London which he hopes to finish by the end of the year.
