Alison Cadden and friends

Alison Cadden is an extremely busy lady.  As well as being involved in many areas of music, she is also a rector's wife and mother of three little girls.    Her musical talents are much in demand and Bishop Harold looked in her direction when planning the worship music for the Bishop's Bible Week.

Alison will be involving members of the band she formed when producing her recent "Fullness of Joy" CD of psalms with a contemporary setting.

Under Alison's direction the band members taking part will include Nicola Brown and Karen Bowden (vocals), who will be joined on the Tuesday and Friday evening by guest soloist and flautist Clara Costley.

Other members are Julie Bell, who will play violin, drummer Jessica Huddleson, Jessica being a new addition to the band, and Barry Collins will play bass.

Another band member, David Bell, who is rector of Ardtrea & Desertcreat in Armagh diocese, will be in charge of acoustic/electric guitar.  Alison assures us that David looks very much at home in Down & Dromore!
