Bible week venue

The Bible Week venue is St Saviour's church in Dollingstown, near Lurgan.  This is the newest church in the Church of Ireland diocese of Down & Dromore.  It was consecrated by the Right Revd Harold Miller, Bishop of Down & Dromore on Saturday 10 December 2005.

St Saviour's is the daughter church of Magheralin parish.  The Church of Ireland has had a presence in Dollingstown for almost 100 years, but recent population movement, together with increased church membership, created the need for a new church building.

The original church was built in 1918 and demolished (for safety reasons) in 2004.  The new modern contemporary building can accommodate 350 people and is used by the whole community throughout the week, as well as for Sunday services.
