Dean's travel awards

The Dean of Down, the Very Revd Henry Hull has been able to award small grants to 29 young people engaging in short term mission and GAP year projects this year.

The young people are serving in various places including Uganda, Ghana, Columbia, Zambia and Albany.

The scheme, established in 2005 following the St Patrick's Day ‘Global Vision' celebrations, is designed to provide small grants to young people in the 18-25 age group, who wish to take part in short-term mission projects and is particularly suitable for students taking a GAP year.

The photograph shows some of the young people who received grants with the Dean of Down.
