Spotlight on Karen
Karen is another of the soloists at the Bishop's Bible Week. Here's her profile:
My name is Karen Bowden and I am delighted to be taking part in this special week of mission. I have a lifelong love of music and singing and like to play guitar also. For most of my life I have been involved in leading worship both in church and at other events.
My dearest friend, Alison Cadden, and I have played together at a number of Diocesan events over the years! Currently I am involved in the Youth Department of my church and oversee the worship there.
I have also been a puppeteer for a number of years and look forward to seeing Jennifer and her team from Cracked Pot Puppets again.
When I am not singing my time is spent looking after my lovely husband Jeremy and our 16 year old son Neil, and working as a Special Needs Classroom Assistant in a local school.
