Is there more to life than this?
With summer over, and as autumn leaves begin to fall, many churches all over the country are launching their Alpha courses.
If you're a cinema goer, or have been watching Channel 4 or Sky television, you may well have seen the new Alpha advert ‘Is there more to life than this'. It's a one minute long film depicting the ‘treadmill of life' from birth to death. A 23 year old grahic designer, Alastair Duckworth, is the designer and he spent two and half weeks designing the animated film which portrays human life as a conveyer belft from birth to death with many wry touches of humour.

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day or weekend away.
Over 2 million people in the UK and 10 million worldwide have now attended an Alpha course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.
