The Cross & the Switchblade coming to Willowfield

The Saltmine Theatre Company is putting on "The Cross and the Switchblade" by David Wilkerson and John & Elizabeth Sherrill at Willowfield Church on 9th and 10th November. Tickets are available from Willowfield Parish Office (tel: 9045 7654) and cost £4 (£3 concession rate).
Adapted from the book, this play is a remarkable true story about urban renewal that takes a refreshing and poignant look at survival in the city. David Wilkerson is a country preacher who goes to New York to preach to drug addicts. Nicky Cruz is a Puerto Rican kid who is initiated to the Mau Mau gang and meets up with David.
This play has toured America and is being revived with a new adaptation and brand new cast. Please come along and bring your friends - you will have a riveting experience!
