Ballybeen churches unite in outreach
This week (10-18 November) sees a significant event in the life of Ballybeen estate in Dundonald. St Mary's is joining with Dundonald Methodist and Christ Church Presbyterian in a week of outreach to the local community. CONNECT is a programme of different events for different ages all held in different locations around Ballybeen, all intended to communicate the good news of Jesus in relevant ways. The week will be led by Through Faith Missions evangelist Roger Murphy and CPAS Ireland Consultant Paul Hoey, both of whom are well known and respected for the evangelistic work they have led in Down & Dromore over recent years.
Mark Harvey ,the rector of St.Mary's, comments "As people from each of the churches have come together in planning and preparation and in prayer over recent months, we have expressed a heart to see the three congregations connected more deeply to one another, to the community around us here in Ballybeen and Dundonald and ultimately to see many lives connected to God through Jesus."
