Reflections on Lambeth 2008

Two of the 670+ Bishops who attended the Lambeth Conference this summer took some time out on Thursday 9th October to share their thoughts. 'Reflections on Lambeth 2008' featured the Rt Revd Harold Miller, Bishop of Down and Dromore and the Rt Revd Bill Love, Bishop of Albany in St Saviour's Dollingstown.

'Lambeth promised to be one of the most closely watched conferences of its time. Everyone waited with baited breath to see who would be invited then we held our breath to see who would come. Yet, with some uncertainty we still waith for clear direction on what to do next'.

The two Bishops reflected on the current situation within the Anglican Communion, as we together seek to fulfil the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ faithfully passing on the truth of the Gospel to the next generation.
