Bishop Harold expresses sympathy at the death of Sir John Hermon

I was so sorry to hear today of the death of Sir John Hermon.

‘Jack' served this province as Chief Constable of the RUC at one of the most difficult periods in our history. Sadly, in his retirement, he suffered from alzheimer's, which is never easy for a wife or family. My thoughts and prayers are with Lady Sylvia and their children in their loss, and we are so grateful to Sylvia  for the way she has served the community wisely and faithfully, while caring for Jack.
