Many people in Maridi Diocese have, within the last few months, experienced horrendous LRA atrocities, with thousands fleeing from their homes to the safety of Maridi town.

The good news is that the local church, under the leadership of Bishop Justin Badi, is reaching out with love and compassion, providing emotional, spiritual and practical support to thousands of people.

In recent weeks the Church has been able to provide more than 10,000 people with shelter, blankets, food, cooking equipment, medicine and support as they grieve their loss and try look to the future.

Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in our link diocese in Southern Sudan.
