Calling all parish treasurers
Parish treasurers are invited to hear about a new parish accounting package that has just been successfully piloted.
Well received by those that have used it, the package offers a straightforward means to producing the basic accounting reports needed for annual reporting, whether for Gift Aid, for diocesan purposes or for the new Charities Commissions. It offers an easy way to assure best practice and delivers a standard format across the parishes. This allows the diocese to more easily collate the information as required.
The package is being introduced to the remaining parishes in a series of June meetings around the country and all rectors are asked to share the invitation with their treasurers. It will be introduced and demonstrated by the staff of the RB Finance Department, Adrian Clements, Head of Finance and Niall Jones, accountant.
There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
The meeting in the north will be held at 7.45pm on Wednesday 10th June in Moira Parish Centre, Moira, Co Down.
