Kilkeel Toddlers charity push

The Toddler group at Christchurch Parish, Kilkeel, got motoring recently and raised £500 for two children’s charities. As a result of a sponsored buggy push through the town, £250 was collected for Save the Children and £250 for a local charity, SNAP.

SNAP (Special Needs And Parents) was set up to support families in the area who have young children with special needs. Chairperson, Roisin Phillips, received the cheque at the Toddlers end of term picnic in the rectory garden and thanked everyone for their efforts. Margaret McBride came along with her little grandson to accept the donation for Save the Children. The rectory rabbit and guinea pig also made an appearance, much to the delight of everyone under the age of five!
