New Vicar for Seapatrick

Rev Mark Greenstreet was instituted by Bishop Harold Miller as Vicar of Seapatrick, Banbridge, on Wednesday 1st July. The Bishop also preached at the service.

Mark is a native of Watford, north of London, and since ordination in 1997 has served in churches in St.Albans, Stevenage and Solihull. For the last five years he has been Vicar of the parish of Halton, near Runcorn in Cheshire.

He has been married to Annette for eight years and they have a 14 month old daughter, Niamh.

When not working, Mark likes his gadgets - he tinkers with technology, and cars and motorbikes are also a passion. He likes to keep fit (and recognise God most clearly) when he is out walking with the dogs.

On moving to Banbridge from England he says, "I first fell in love with Northern Ireland  about 15 years ago when I toured the whole of Ireland on the bike. The people are so kind and welcoming, and I especially love the scenery!"
