Bible Week readers
Our reader at the Bible Week this evening is Dr John Kyle, a Belfast City Councillor and Deputy Leader of the Progressive Unionist Party. He will read Jude 1:1-7.
John works as a General Practitioner in East Belfast and has a special interest in Palliative Care. He is married to Helen, has five grown-up children and is a member of Christian Fellowship Church, Strandtown.
He was co-opted onto Belfast City Council to represent the Pottinger Ward after the death of Cllr David Ervine MLA.
For many years John has been involved in community development projects and partnerships such as the Oasis Centre, the East Belfast Community Health Information Project (EBCHIP) and the East Belfast Partnership.
His motivation springs from a strong Christian commitment and a desire to see communities damaged by conflict and deprivation transformed and renewed.
