Bills for General Synod 2010
The Legislation Committee was established in 1881 ‘to consider suggestions for legislation, and to revise such draft Bills as may be submitted to them, and to prepare any Bills which may appear to them to be required for the explanation or amendment of the law'.
In preparation for the General Synod 2010, a preliminary meeting of the Legislation Committee will be held on Thursday 14 January 2010 and in advance of that, the General Synod Office would like to invite any member of the General Synod who is intending to bring a Bill to the General Synod 2010 to contact the Synod Office.
