Bishop Harold expresses support for New Chief Constable
"I would like to add my name to the many people who have welcomed the new Chief Constable of the PSNI, Matt Baggott," writes Bishop Harold Miller.
"Northern ireland has become an example of how policing can adapt and change positively. We have a police force trusted by the vast majority of our people, but also a situation in which a small but dangerous minority can create an unsettled atmosphere - and worse.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Matt Baggott, and I know those will be appreciated. He is a man of faith and following Christ is at the centre of his life. We rejoice both at his open witness for the Lord and his desire to serve all the community."
