24-40 Prayer arrives in Carryduff

24-40 Prayer has left Mourne and passed into the hands of Dufferin Area Deanery, where a prayer room has been set up at Carryduff Parish Church on the corner of the Saintfield Road and Comber Road.

"The Prayer Room will be open from 9am to 9pm each day," says Rev Willie Nixon, Area Dean. "It will provide a space for the people of the Dufferin Deanery to pray in silence for the Spiritual Renewal and Revival of the Diocese of Down and Dromore, together with the needs of parishes and individuals. A photocopied prayer guide, books of prayers, Bibles, and pictures, will be available to help guide your prayers. Please drop in to join others who will be praying in silence.

To cover the nights, a group of people have agreed to pray from 9pm-9am in hourly sessions, for the four nights, in their own homes. This is very much a 24 hour a day initiative in prayer."
