24-40 Prayer arrives in Lecale Deanery
Lecale Area Dean and Dean of Down Cathedral, Very Rev Henry Hull, received the 'Big Prayer Book' from Rev Kevin Graham as the 24-40 vigil entered its last week.
The Lecale leg of the journey began opened with a prayer service in St Patrick's Church of Ireland, Saul, the cradle of Christianity in Ireland. The Prayer Room, which has been set up by a joint youth group, will be open until Saturday 31st when 24-40 Prayer moves to the Cathedral for the closing service.
The focus in Lecale is on having participation from members of all the local churches - Baptist, Presbyterian, Roman Catholic and Methodist.
