Choirs launch CD in Kilmore and Inch

A large and appreciative audience was in Crossgar War Memorial Community Hall on Saturday 21st November for a concert by the Choirs and Praise Group of Inch and Kilmore Parish Churches.

The concert marked the launch of their CD "Blessed be Your Name." A selection of pieces from the CD were performed during the evening and the compere was the BBC's Walter Love, who is a member of Inch Parish Church.

A tribute was paid to the late Richard Savage by Susan McCracken, Organist of the two Churches. The CD is dedicated to Richard, who was a a member of Inch Church, in recognition of his work for both parishes. He was commissioned as a Parish Reader in hospital just before he died in December 2008. The Bishop of Down and Dromore, The Right Reverend Harold Miller, brought the evening to a close before supper.

The CD is priced at £11.99 and would make an ideal Christmas gift. Proceeds will go to Inch Parish Church Restoration Fund.  They are available from either of the two Churches, Down Cathedral Shop, Massey's Saintfield, Susan McCracken Tel 028 4461 4516 or Elaine King 028 4483 0933.
