Bishop Harold writes:

'The story of Holy Week is an absolute rollercoaster of emotion. The freefall drop of the new 'Th13teen' Rollercoaster at Alton Towers is as nothing in comparison. Yet God is in the midst even when human emotions are at their worst, and God is present when the whole of the world seems to be falling apart. He is there in the joyful times, at the tender times, and at the point of sheer desolation. In this week of weeks we bring all our emotional experiences to the foot of the cross, and know that Jesus is already there in them with us'.
