Goodbye Jasper
Jasper Rutherford has been the lead youth worker in Willowfield Parish for the past seven years and overseen a the ministry grow from a small handful of teenagers to a thriving youth work.
A significant number of young people have come to faith in Christ and joined the church and dozens of volunteers work regularly in a variety of youth activities.
Japer, along with his wife Lynne, son Elijah and daughter Shannon are moving to Newcastle Upon Tyne this September when he begins 2 years of training as a Church Army evangelist.
Jasper will be missed, not only in his parish, but also in the diocese. We wish he and the family every blessing as they pursue their new calling.
