Scripture reflection from Bishop Harold launches BSNI series
A contribution from Bishop Harold has launched a new Scripture InSight series from the Bible Society of Northern Ireland.
BSNI has collected the favourite scripture passages of people from all walks of life - Church, Broadcasting, Sport, Business and the Public and Charitable sectors - and is publishing them online, week by week. The contributions will also be reproduced in the Belfast News Letter.
Each week readers will get the chance to have an 'InSight' into someone's favorite verse or passage and to read their personal reflection on why it has been significant for them in their life.
2011 marks the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible and as the Society looks back over the years at how the Bible has impacted lives, it is encouraging people to look at Scripture in new ways and to take a fresh interest in what the Bible has to say about the lives we lead today.
