Diocesan clergy begin their bi-annual conference

The Down and Dromore Clergy Conference begins on Monday 18th October at the Central Hotel in Co. Donegal. The Bishop will welcome Revd Professor Tom Wright as the conference speaker.

Professor Wright's theme will be,  'Re-reading the gospels: understanding, praying and preaching God's Kingdom'. The Bishop of Derry and Raphoe, the Right Revd Ken Good, will give the evening Bible readings in the local parish church.

The time away together is an opportunity for leaders in the diocese to be refreshed by worship, Bible teaching, discussion and relaxation. There will be workshops on offer and several sessions with invited guests including a conversation with Denis Bradley and Harold Good on 'A Shared Future.'

Also joining the conference will be a group from our link diocese of Albany that includes both Bishop Bill and Bishop Dan.

Clergy spouses are invited along to Donegal and we are delighted that a number are able to attend this year.

Please remember the Clergy Conference in your prayers.
