Donaghadee rector awarded MBE
Chaplain to the Forces, Ian Robert Gamble, Royal Army Chaplains' Department, Territorial Army, has been awarded the MBE in the New Year's Honours List.
Bishop Harold congratulated the rector of Donaghadee saying, "On behalf of the Diocese of Down and Dromore, I congratulate Ian on being honoured in the Queen's New Years Honours List, for his work with the TA.
"As many will know Ian served for some time in Afghanistan. He has had a real commitment to the Army, and well deserves this award."
