Revd Canon Ken Smyth to retire
Canon Ken Smyth who has been rector of St Mark's Newtownards for the past 28 years has announced his retirement with effect from 7th April 2011.
Ken will, however, remain as Church of Ireland Chaplain in the Ulster Hospital, a role he assumed at the start of 2011, and looks forward to attending to the spiritual needs of patients there.
