Ecumenical service in St John's Church, Newcastle, Thursday 20th January at 7.30 p.m.

Bangor

Service at First Bangor Presbyterian Church, Main Street, on Sunday 23rd January at 7 p.m. for Bangor churches. The Preacher will be The Right Revd. Harold Miller, Bishop of Down & Dromore.

Castlewellan

South Down Ecumenical Clergy Study Group are holding their annual service during the week of prayer for Christian unity in St Paul’s, Castlewellan on Thursday 20th January, at 8.00pm.

Downpatrick

Downpatrick Churches Together (comprising of all the seven churches in the town) are holding a Service of Prayer for Christian Unity on Sunday 23rd January at 7.00 pm in Downpatrick Methodist Church In Strangford the Church of Ireland and Roman Catholic Church are holding a joint service in the Star of the Sea Church on Wednesday 19th January at 7.30 pm.

Movilla Abbey Church

Service Wednesday 19th January at 7.30 p.m. The preacher will be the Reverend William Haslett, retired Minister of Ballyblack Presbyterian Church, member of the Newtownards Inter-Church Forum and a member of the Greenhills Ecumenial Group.

Gilnahirk

16th January, the Methodist, Presbyterian and Church of Ireland will engage in a Pulpit swap in the morning: Church of Ireland will go to Gilnahirk Prebyterian at 11am; Presbyterian will go to Braniel Methodist at 11.30 a.m.; Methodist will go to St Dorothea’s Church of Ireland at 10.15 a.m.

At 7 p.m. there will be a joint ecumenical service in Gilnahirk Presbyterian Church.

St. Mark's Dundela

There will be a united service for the Belmont and District Council of Churches in St. Mark's Dundela on Sunday 16th January at 6.30pm.
