Bishop Harold has been in touch with the Bishop of Christchurch, Victoria Matthews, to assure her of the prayers of our diocese in the wake of the earthquake in New Zealand.
Please pray:
For those whose loved ones have died in the earthquake
For those who are buried alive in the rubble
For all who are undertaking the rescue mission
For all whose property and goods have been destroyed
For those who seek the face of God in seeking to come to terms with such a terrible tragedy
For the Bishop, Victoria Matthews, the Dean, Peter Beck, and all who seek to care pastorally for those in need
