Bishops' Appeal seeks to employ an Education Advisor
The Church of Ireland Bishops' Appeal seeks to employ an Education Advisor.
Applications are invited for this part-time position (16 hours per week).
The role of the Adviser is:
to raise awareness of world development issues within the Church of Ireland
to identify development projects which can be 'owned’ in a strategic and co-ordinated way by various dioceses
to liaise with and support Bishops’ Appeal diocesan representatives
to avail of opportunities to preach, teach and speak about develpment issues
to develop and maintain channels of communication
Knowledge and understanding of issues of world development together with a working knowledge of the structures and organisation of the Church of Ireland will be necessary.
As the Adviser is a key point of contact for those seeking information about Bishops’ Appeal desk space is provided in Church House, Dublin.
