Angus Buchan April Prayer Letter
April is now upon us, things are gearing up massively for the event, advertising is going up over the province, the media are picking up on the event and many things are falling into place.
It really is time to get excited for the 27-28th May. We are told in Scripture to boldy come before the throne of grace so we may find help in times of need (Hebrews 4.16), and when we do submit to prayer we have confidence:
And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, he hears us: And if we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. (1 john 5.14-15).
Together in unity our prayers will reach the Highest Authority, let's come together to pray for our land, our neighbours and for God's Kingdom to expand and reach into the darkest corners.
Very often we face situations in life which are so huge we cannot but bring them before God, this is one such situation. There is no human effort which can make the Odyssey a success in Gods eyes, only the Holy Spirit will bring revival, healing and salvation...
Let's pray:
For Angus as he engages in many other speaking engagements before he comes to Belfast. That the Lord would guide his thoughts and prayers to His Will, and that the Lord would use him mightly in His Work,
For the Christians who are passionate about this event, that they would share this passion with non Christian friends, who NEED to hear the message of hope Angus will bring. That the local Church would see this event as a REAL opportunity to bring friends, neighbours and family somewhere which could truly be life changing.
For those organising and promoting the event, for guidance, discernment, strength and perserverance in their task.
For the faith of the saints to be increased. That together we would believe mighty things can happen at this event!
For God to be glorified in all efforts to do with this event.
