Last call for Albany trip

The Diocese of Down and Dromore continues to cement its links with the Episcopal Diocese of Albany and Bishop Harold will one of the group attending this year's Convention. Time is running out if you would like to join the trip and we invite you to contact the office if you're interested. The expected dates are 7-14 June.

The two dioceses have very different churchmanship but a shared spirituality and have profited from visits in both directions.

The party will participate in the Albany Convention, the main business meeting of the diocese. It is a residential event at the beautiful lakeside 'Camp of the Woods' with worship, seminars, a youth programme and leisure activities all part of the experience.  The group will also visit Christ the King Spiritual Life Centre, a healing and retreat centre owned by the diocese.

The annual trip to Albany is open to clergy and laity in Down and Dromore and past group members have very much enjoyed the experience.
